HANAMI at Japanese Restaurant in London
“HANAMI represents the fragility and beauty of life. It’s a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful, but that it is also tragically short, making Sakura a metaphor for wabi-sabi life” – Rohan Shrestha.
Japanese Restaurant in London’s Mayfair HANAMI Season
Join us as we welcome Sakura season at our Grosvenor Street residence with an exhibition of ‘HANAMI’. Envisaged by founder Samyukta Nair, prized works of photographer Rohan Shrestha capturing Kyoto during cherry blossom season will be seen rising high in the front windows of our façade, while the KOYN car beautifully transforms to encapsulate the essence of the monasteries that inspired Shrestha’s works.
The abundance of the season is embodied in each Hanami Hako, a luxuriously crafted oak chest filled with artisanal ceramic vessels featuring a wealth of 6 dishes curated by Executive Chef Rhys Cattermoul. Indulge in our Sakura Raindrop Cake, an iridescent and enticing addition to our dessert menu and enjoy our Blossom Negroni created by the resident KOYN BAR team to celebrate the season.
HANAMI HAKO will be available for lunch only from the 17th of March to the 31st of May.
