Midori
As you step into KOYN, passing our sculpted Verde Cipollino marble desk, you will discover MIDORI; inspired by the landscape of Japanese zen gardens and the dazzling pink moss growing on the fertile volcanic soils of Mount Fuji.
MIDORI embodies a marriage of modernist architecture and traditional Japanese craft with walls adorned with bronze and glass sculptural wall lights cast from the insides of charred trees and softened with iridescent textured plaster. Our rich green leather upholstered seats and sage velvet banquettes sit on a tatami mat-inspired oak flooring whilst our Verde Cipollino marble Sushi Counter stands as the centrepiece of the room.
Sushi Bar
Our boutique hand-carved marble Sushi Bar sits as the centrepiece of MIDORI, where handcrafted sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi are freshly prepared in front of guests under the guidance of KOYN’s resident Sushi master.
Behind our boutique Sushi Bar sits a bespoke illuminated eglomise art piece with white gold leaf and soft green and pink hues, commissioned from Emma Peascod, depicting a Japanese mountains-cape scene as an ode to Mount Fuji.
